Funny, me too. There are a lot of us.

I moved out of my apartment in August. Two weeks later, Madison Property Management had sent a check with $350 deducted from the security deposit.

You can read the gory details if you want. If you've rented from Madison Property Management before, you probably already know what I'm talking about.

I'm collecting stories of other renters with similar experiences. I am still investigating how to take these creeps down, but at the very least I'll publicize the stories I get, keeping identities anonymous, of course. I have just a few objectives:

• I want everybody who rents from Madison Property Management to remember to document every little imperfection when they move in.
• I hope this will pressure Madison Property Management into being less blatantly evil. Maybe that's optimistic.

• I'd also like to help both property owners and renters find less corrupt property management companies.
